Hi All,

Been on here for a couple months reading up on M5's. Been searching for an AW M5 for the past month and I finally found one local here in Washington. 2013 M5.

Stock Photos, but will mod soon. Just got her detailed. Will put in an order for IND cosmetic package tomorrow. I'd like to do to H&R springs and either 10mm or 12mm spacers.

Should I wrap my roof gloss black?

Threw on some IND goodies...gloss black grille and side markers. Also painted reflectors:

I also had alpine white and had my roof wrapped in black. I liked the look.

What percent tint is that on there? 15?

I'm not sure. It came with the tint, but I'd say 25 to 30%.

I agree with everyone here, gloss black would look sick. But only if you had black wheels IMO. It would just seem a little off to me if everything was gloss black and the wheels were silver.

Any future wheel plans?

Congrats! blackout the grill completely...definitely black out the roof!

Thanks for the suggestions. My wife thinks the gloss black roof would look "rice" haha. That's the only reason I haven't done that yet. I'm torn myself. I want to keep it M5 classy if you will. LOL

Just ordered my gloss black front and side grills. Matching white reflectors. Plans for the wheels not quite yet. Want to do engine mods first. But I'll drop it and do springs. Thinking of powder coating the rims gunmetal if it's not too expensive.

Wassup Justin! Do the gloss black roof, LCI front kidney grills, powdercoat your rims gloss black and black out the rear tail lights as well.

Hey man. Congrats! Love the AW. I had a chance to pick up a lower mile and cleaner Silver M5, but waited patiently for this color.

I was torn between the other vendor on here that sales the grills and reflectors. Think their name is J-speed. I was also looking on e-bay, but I ended going with IND. Members have said nothing but good things about them. If you IM them on here or call them and say you're a member here, they'll give you a discount.

IND is the way to go - also purchased my alpine white reflectors and side grills from there. No issues and they provide links for install instructions...

I love mine. Did my wheels in gloss black and wrapped my roof and love it even more...DO IT.

How much miles is on that beast
Did it come with warranty? Or aftermarket warranty.
Im sure u will break them wallets once u start modding your beast lol.

No warranty of such. But I got it 6K under book! I've gotten away with not having aftermarket warranty on a few previous luxury cars and faired well. Hope this is the case here. It had 50k miles.

Almost spent $1K in mods the first week. Pics to follow....
