Break in service in Europe

For those that did their break-in service in Europe how soon did you submit the receipt to your dealer to get reimbursed? I did my service in Trier and the cost was 350 Euros.

I did contemplate on having my M5 serviced in Europe during ED, however, looking for the right place and the time it would take to have it serviced would have taken almost a day (or maybe two) from my ED trip schedule. So unless you really have plans to go to Nürburgring and can spare a day or two from your schedule, there's really no point in having the break-in service done in Europe -- I'd rather drive within the limits prescribed for not having had the car serviced after break-in than spend a day or two without the car.

I already serviced the car in Germany last week. It took them 6 hrs and we explored the city during that time. My question was around getting reimbursed in the US for the european service. Thanks

I think you have to submit the bill to the ED people in New Jersey. I had a wheel balancing done but the dealer in Austria didn't charge me so it was a non issue. Your dealer can help. I'm pretty sure RPIM5 did his service in Europe.
