I stopped to look at a press car/demo just arrived at North Shore BMW. Very nice.

No drive but I was standing behind when the car was started. Very quiet actually - I was disappointed. My S65 makes a much louder blip. It must have already been warm.

Adelaide Motors have offered me a drive in their press car but only for an hour and with their salesman in the car. I think I'll wait for mine to arrive though - it's about 6 weeks away.

Don't think we will ever see an "M5 press car" up here in Cairns. I'll probably have to go back to the Gold Coast to test drive (where I bought my 335 from)

There is one doing the rounds in Queensland, in Singapore Grey. Drove it on the weekend, and it is really the perfect all rounder. Love the new MDM mode where it gives you some safety margin, but you still have to counter steer - very natural indeed. Unlike the 1M mdm where it often snaps back too quickly.
