Looks like they are really going to stick it to us on the Executive Package--a lot of those options appear to only be available in that massive $5500 package.

Its obnoxious. I want to be able to pick the options a la carte. I guess this is how they are recovering some of the fact that they MSRP of the car didnt jump over 90k.

I am trying to figure it out as well and have my dealer working on an answer.

I surmised that the individual otions, codes 322 and 655, are no cost options (that must be selected), but if you get the package, they are automaticallly included.

Dealer thought this to be unlikely because they dont include satellite in any of the cars for no cost (just prep).

Will inform when I hear something official.

Looks like keyless go is standard ( key in pocket to start stop car, no key slot)
Comfort access is only part executive package which allows you to open door/ trunk without using the fob.

Can't find the answer on the sat radio, all other bmws you can add it to your order ?

You think it is bad in the US? Try putting the options together for Canada. Our Executive package is $9,500.00 (and includes the driver's assistance package). Your packages combined are about $3,000 less. It is the same story with the 550i, you can order ala carte, we have to order everything in packages. On the 550, if I want a satellite radio, I have to order a $4,900 executive package.

+1 at least keyless go is standard, but im not paying 5500 for a bunch of options i could care less about. Maybe there is a way to order this option alone.

I know that is the strange part. Also the m6 includes it as std. No straight answer, willing to live without comfort access as long as I can keep key in my pocket to start/stop car.

I don't want to use the key to open the door. I know that I will someday scratch the door with the key if I'm carrying something or if I'm tired. If CA can only be had by ordering the package and if I decide to buy this car I will buy the package.
