Reduced Power ?

My '15 M5 has done 10k miles and a weird thing happened yesterday, as soon as the car first turned over for a 30mile journey, the exhaust note sounded very muted & the car felt lacking in power.

There were no warnings on the idrive & no service requirements. I changed between driver modes and the response was the same. Fortunately, when I drove back, whatever had happened had sorted itself out & it was back to its normal self !?

Any thoughts out there and/or has anyone else experienced this ?

Completely stock car?

It's tough to say as the car typically would throw a DTML and you'd see it in your i drive if there was a detected anomaly.

You could always take it to BMW and have them do a scan to see if there are any codes triggered. Although CEL or DTMAL wasn't triggered by it.
