Sun Visor Mod - Remove Airbag Warnings?

After seeing the tasteful, well-executed B Pillar mod recently shared by avlnch, I've been interested in modifying other areas in such a way. There are two areas that bother me the most:

1) The in your face airbag warning on each sun visor. I'm unsure if this is a North American only label.

2) The cheap, plastic material on the storage hatch door ("folding box" I believe is the name) located below and left of the steering column (USA-sided steering column).

The first one is the most glaring, so I'd like to address it first. I've had previous BMWs where the label could be removed using steam, leaving no trace. I don't think this will be possible with the Alcantara. One option I see is to have it reupholstered. I'm guessing this may prove somewhat challenging. Otherwise, I wasn't sure if these labels are on all M5s, or if certain regions don't require the label. Obviously, if that is the case, I could simply order that version.

Has anyone else considered such a mod? Thoughts?

I think others like JMH just replaced the sun visors with eurospec ones that were a bit pricey but looked great as I recall.

I found ECE spec anthracite (black) alcantara sun visors and installed them into my brothers M5 (he has the black headliner). They look good.. much better than before.

Unfortunately I could not source Amaro Brown ECE spec sun visors for my car. I might give it another shot and try to look for them again.

Thanks for the prompt replies.

If you can, please share a recommended source for the ECE versions (PM me if needed). Thanks.

I didn't realize the airbag signs bothered people that much. I will try not to look at them next time I drive the car.

I've removed these warning labels before, but have not done it yet on my F10. I remember them coming off pretty easily - I think I used Goo-Gone. Just put some on a rag and hold it on the label for a few minutes and it peels right off.

We got the same horrible labels on the visor, at least in my country.
A dissonance in an otherwise harmonious interior design.

So, I will replace them as well.

They are our interior's "orange reflector."

I got some euro visors a while ago. If anyone wants a stock set for less to try to take the stickers off via steam or something pm me an offer.

Nope. The last time I removed the warning labels was on my 2006 E60 M5 which had a vinyl like material on the visors.

I'm attempting to remove them using acetone right now. Check out my other thread for results.
