They're not pussies like Americans who can't drive in the snow even with AWD.

Just to confirm, I'm British, and I used to drive my 70s Dodge Challenger in the snow. It's not complicated. Just don't mash the pedals like a gorilla or steer like a fucking cartoon character.

I've used it in winter and obviously it keeps your skis from being exposed to road salt etc (and not having to install a god ugly roof box) But as you're asking , the same question could go for "Why on earth does anyone in the US buy a +500hp car?" , doesn't make much sense either

Because it's a regular BMW F10 based car that is also designed to be used year round as a families means of transportation. In Norway, you can't have a family car that doesn't do winter driving.
Just use the (mandatory in some countries) winter tires and it's just as well suited to winter driving as a 520D, 535i or 550i. If you are driving to the mountains for your weekend skiing etc, why not drive in style? The Koenigsegg can be fitted with a roof mounted ski box... And the M5 is not some super exotic car that isn't designed to be driven in the snow. It's a "regular" BMW F10... |

Why would anyone buy a liter bike bike putting out 180 rwhp with TC and anti wheelie? Doesn't make sense.

It does if it's you only car!
I haul all sorts of stuff in my car, from xmas trees, kids, dogs, boards, bikes why not ski's? In fact as a teenager we used get passed going to the mountain by dudes in 635csi's and sierra cosworth's...and we'd all dream about getting a car that is actually too fast...now is me :-) M5 a car to drive to the mountain? oh yes. Cheers stu

The "making sense" group of people are on Prius or Yaris forum. We are just a bunch of crazy drivers all around the world.
At once, I was really considering loading a piece of woof by using that ski bag and I have up because I wouldn't know how to fold it back.

Yep, people in Europe put snow tires on just about anything and drive it to the mountains.
