Installing LI sensors on new LCI grill?

My SA called to say my LCI grills arrived at the dealer and, as my M5 is in the shop for the Drivetrain Malfunction CEL anyway, he offered to install them for me. Before he does, does anyone know of any issues moving the front LI sensors from the old grill to the new grill? Pretty straight forward or fraught with peril? I'd rather he not ruin anything even though he says he's "got it." Thanks in advance.

Just make sure they are as level as possible.

I'm referring to the quad LIs for defense against laser.

What I meant was any issues taking the LI sensors off the old grill and putting on the new (i.e. is this feasible).

They should be (like mine are) attached with 3M adhesive strips.

They need to remove them from the grille, clean the remaining adhesive off the LI unit, prep the area where they will be placing the LI unit on the new LCI grille, and stick it on.

They should be a level as possible. Look at a photo of the LCI grille and decide for yourself which fins you want them on.

They should fit better and straighter on the LCI grille than the non LCI grille.

Also from a side angle, you should have the bubble of the LI unit just past the grille fin.. for optimal jamming performance.
