I don't like the side vents. They seems cheap and plastic. Almost like an after thought. I hope it gets revised to be more like the M3 where its integrity with the fender. This just looks like a hole was cut out and this was slapped in.

I like it. Not love it, but like it.

The proportions on the front bumper seem a little off, but I LOVE the rest.

I thought this was Msport 550i. no fat arches, nothing crazy about the intake. i don't know, i expected more.

In a word: underwhelming.

But look at that 265/35-20 295/30-20 tyre rim combo. Boy have this car come a long way from the 80s.

This makes me miss the unveiling of the E60 M5. I wish this wasn't the M5 were gonna be stuck with for the next six years...I can already see this getting boring too quickly.

Don't like how the brake ducts pinch in at the center, the wheels aren't as special as the E60's, and the rear looks extremely boring and unoriginal unlike the previous gen's. I'm hoping some unofficial pics and video reviews change my mind.

I like the look of the lines on the hood. Kinda looks like the BMW badge is creating a wake in water. It gives the illusion of forward motion, even when parked.

It won't even sound as good as the S65 in the current M3. It can't.

I have heard a full exhaust X6M, it sounds weak!

Oh and as far as the looks go. It looks like a bigger E90 M3, with a E60ish M5 rear/diffuser.

I think this car is weak. E60 M5 was aggressive but still a sleeper. This just looks like
M-Tec 5 series. Nothing special besides the rear diffuser, which is ugly. M5? Mediocre 5? sad

i like tht new M5 despite that it looks like a M3, from the front bumper and the front fender panels, they should have done something new, its not wowing me just look like a M3, they should have done better, but except for those minor details it is hot

yeah i agree it is a big step up from tht last M5 they have cuz it was ugly so they did a much better job even though they had to make the front similar to the M3

I know what you mean. I still like it because it's classy and reminds me of the E39 a little. However, I knew it just wasn't going to look as dramatic as the E60. I loved that concept when we seen it. It looked so imposing and eye-catching. The new M5 looks a little reserved.

I think I know why the front looks tame. The grille, headlights and intakes are all rectangular and similar size. It's also similar to the M3. I also don't like the way the ducts meet in the middle. The E60 was full of mad shapes and really looked unique.

I have heard an F12 M6 prototype last Friday, and it sounded imposing. Hope they keep it like that for production.

Best regards,
south

Beautiful. I expect my M5s to be semi-sleepers with an overall upscale look, this fits the bill nicely This really makes the E63 look gaudy in comparison with those huge tailpipes
