Happened to Me This Morning!

While on the way to work this morning,...an within 1.5 miles or so so my exit off the Beltway (outter-loop near Rte 1), some guy in a Alpine White F10 5'er, with aftermarket dual exhausts, decides that he wants to be in a greater hurry than everyone else. He decides to 'shoot-the-gap on my blind side' and barely,...I mean barely made it. Had I been going just a tick faster,...or the other car traveling just a tick slower,...there would have been at least a 5 to 8 car pileup,...if not more. I thought this was going to be a one time thing, but the pyscho continued to thread the gap between other vehicles ahead of me in the distance. He seemed quite determined to show everyone that he was driving the Ultimate Driving Machine like an Ultimate Stupid Driver!

I can never understand what makes another driver take such risks and have total disregard for other drivers when on the road.

I'm sure I've had my stupid moment behind the wheel of an automobile, ....but this takes the cake IMhO.

I'm sure I'll see this 'debadged',...Maryland plates, Alpine White, Non-X/Drive, 535,...or 550 5-Series again!


PS: His car certainly was not an M5!

I jokingly mentioned to my wife that I am one of the worst road raging drivers now because I drive a BMW (based on an article I read last year: male, bmw, blue color), except mine is white.

But yeah, fuckheads can be driving anything....

What were you in? Maybe he wanted to be friends lol i started my love for BMW with a base model. But honestly, i hate them now

Gives everyone who sees that the impression that most, if not all, BMW drivers are like that. Really sad.

I saw some lady do that in a Ford Escape yesterday. After driving across this country twice in the M5 now, it's hard to say which place has the worst drivers. I think pretty much every country in the world has idiot drivers, oh except for Germany of course.

But yeah I almost got taken out a couple times in my M5 like that while I was on the East Coast.

I've had idiots change lanes without seeing me in the passing lane - in Germany. No country is immune to idiots. But America does seem to have a much higher share.

...Note, I normally monitor my rear view mirror,...keeping an eye out for zippers coming from the right,...especially in this area with 3,...and 4 lanes (sometimes more),...going in one direction!

I don't wish anything bad on anyone,..but if you speed long enough,...you will get eventually get a speeding ticket to say the least!

On my way back from LGA airport to the city, I saw the butt ugly 535 GT race an E60 M5 in matte gray. Both were douchebag low life scum bags given how reckless they were driving - weaving in and out in extremely heavy traffic (5 pm Friday traffic around New York - you can imagine). Almost wiped out a dodge caravan minivan with 2 child seats in the back.

Douchebags like these give performance cars and drivers a bad rep.
