It's on such an old chassis. The current A3 has been around since 2003. They have had three new generations of the A4 in the same time.

I'm sure the car will be great and the handling superb but the styling is so outdated now -_-;

according to a spaniard car web, the front tyres are wider than the rear ones, for made it less understeer. i never see this before on a stock "factory" car

Those seats are fucking hawt. Interesting use of aluminum...the designers keep on finding ways to extend its application. Mixed results imo.

Sweet car nonetheless.

Yeah i thought this was what i read too...

One thing i love about this is the AWD. For this reason i would choose it over the 1M (Assuming both have good tunability). Would make a great DD.

Impala SS and the Grand Prix GXP came with wider front tires from factory

I want that engine in my GTi. It's based on the 5 cylinder Golf engine.

They should've restyled it first. The A3's the blandest looking of the bunch. But then again, it's an established formula, so why not.

Hopefully a Quattro sport diff will be optional, then this car will be lots of fun. I'd seriously take that over an R32! I wish that 5 cylinder made its way to the S4 instead of the V6

2012 for new Audi A3. I've got to say guys even though the Audi is dated, it has dated well. It still looks good against the 1 series, Golf mk4 and other hatches over here.

Have to agree , I think it looks way better than the 1 series. And the interior on the rs3 is pretty impressive.

Not all Haldex systems are the same. And this one isn't as front biased as you think.

BTW this small width rubber thingie has been done before on Audis and to great effect. This will be much more playful then many will believe possible from an A3.

S-tronics only? No DSG available?

I am sure if it looks outdated if it is like someone else mentioned it ages well. Just like the E46M3, I still like to follow one on the freeway from time to time because the styling is so classic

You can't really compare them, seeing as this Audi is a 5-door
