Installed some MSR style intakes. They sound good problem is at WOT the stock intake hose scrunched up. Cause the slow power and have to fix.
Can anyone suggest a solution perhaps. Tighter clamp but I think that will not help as it gets scrunched It's fine under moderate throttle and idle but once you go full WOT that happens and all power is restricted. Fixed easily by popping it off and straightening out again. |

That looks horrible! Need to replace that intake hose. Check for a restriction in your intake tract, starting with your filter.
Even you MSR pipe looks dented. Steam your engine bay my friend!!

Thinking it's probably the hose as it looks really worn out.
Checked and rechecked the filters too. Does not happen stock obviously, I had BMS before that came with silicone ones that attached to the intake. Thinking might need something similar. The dealer told me the part is one piece of intake. A quick search showed the part is #13717843279 or 13717843278 around $30. It might or might not be the issue but in future maybe this will help someobe |

The intakes are actually MSR style Also similar to RK. A bunch of companies have released these as of recently.
The pipe looks like that because of the wrinkle black coating and the angle of pic I guess. |
