What is this?

Saw this on media.fastestlaps.com
Anyone know what it is? Plate seems to say BMW M5 Saloon. I think we know thats not true.

Seriously guys? You don't remember this?

This was one of the bad renders when renderers were trying to guess what the real production F10 M5 would look like? This render was done in 2011.

Man, I guess the demographics on this forum have really changed if we have forum members who don't recognize these old renders. I feel old now.

It looks like a modified exterior from someone who knows what a luxury sports car should look like beyond what BMW gave off the lot. To be honest, they should sell a kit being able to make it look 100% like that but It hink they could have done a bit more work on the rear bumper.

I do hope the new M5 looks a little more shapely and aggressive than this when it finally comes out. Looks plain and dull to me

I agree with RPiM5
Its a pretty good photoshop of what was to become the F10 M5.
I do however like the E90/92 style side gills and wheels
