Jb4 with bcm

Hi,

Anyone got experience with the jb4 with the boost control module?
I dont read much about this on here as everybody seems to go for a ecu tune.
I like the posibility to have multiple maps which is possible with the jb4 and to limit the boost in 1st gear for traction.

It all depends on your goals.

In my opinion a tune will achieve higher HP more efficiently. It's recommending to have a backend flash used in conjunction with the BCM/JB4 to get the most use of it. The JB4 offers a ton more options like data logging, wheel controls for map changes, exhaust flap control .. Etc

If your just looking for some fun without voiding your warranty, definitely worth getting.

I am still in warranty so the jb4 is better in that way but on the other hand would it be nice the achieve the best possible results. I believe the jb4 doesnt remove the top speed limiter either.
What are your thoughts about the dinan s1. I read it adapts fuel and ignition trim aswel and is also p&p. Is a ecu tune still better?

Might as we'll go stage 2. I liked it better than the JB4. Not as much power but I liked the way it drove

ECU tune will always yield better results

But an ecu tune is not custom either when you send out the ecu?
It also seem alot of ecu tuners just use standard flashes and done.
