Turner exhaust video

Threw a quick vid together with the new turner axle-back/muffler delete installed, might help if anyone is thinking about purchasing it. Car sounds excellent

Thanks, Agreed.
and yes I love hearing the spool.. Great sound at Wot with just a nice mild tone when cruising. Haven't noticed much drone as well, very happy with the setup.

Sounds great. I have the same setup and posted some videos as well. Best bang for the buck.

Next week I will be adding DPs. Look out for videos. It will sound sick

I love that you can hear the turbo's spooling from the front and rear in your videos. I'm guessing it's more to do with the restrictive intake on the X5M vs the M5, but what intake system do you have?

Since Turner doesn't make these for the X5M, I'll be making one myself. I got dual 4" tips w/ a 3" inlet for $120 shipped on eBay, now I just need to get to a shop that'll do mandrel bent piping for me.

Thanks, and I just did the charcoal filter delete and swapped the oem filters for the k&n's (non oiled). Not an actual aftermarket intake but I definitely noticed the difference over stock, plus the turbo spool sound from the front is great..&now I can hear it in the rear as well !

Very nice, that should be a clean sounding setup !

I also have the K&N (oiled) and sounds much better.

Taking the mufflers off is less restrictive allowing more noise to come through.

I also went the custom muffler delete route as I wanted angle cut tips with a rolled beveled edge that were larger than stock but not too large. All custom mandrel bent pipes from the axle back welded with no clamps. The shop also painted the exhaust pipes and heat shield black so all you see are the tips from the back.

I don't know if I've got charcoal filters still, but I do have K&N drop-in filters...the intake system on the X5M is different than yours though. MSR makes an awesome intake for you so you can really hear the turbos, but I'm going to have to go custom to get the same effect.

You guys have set the bar, I'm looking forward to it.

Probably irrelevant based on your area vs mine, but what'd they charge you to do the piping? I'm strongly considering adding an x-pipe as well since you guys have them stock, aftermarket systems put them in for both the X5M and M5, yet my stock X5M exhaust doesn't have one. I can only assume the factory and aftermarket put them in for a reason, but why the X5M didn't get one stock is beyond me.

I can't see your pic, can you reload it.

Not sure why the embedded photo is no longer working. I will check when I get in front of a computer later today. However, I just edited the post to add a link to the photo. I used Kinney's Muffler Shop here in DFW. They are expensive but do great work. I will check receipt later tonight and send you pm on price.
