m5 6MT whining noise

i have an 6 speed f10 and recently i notice this noise coming fromtransmission
any one face that before ?

I am literally getting the same thing (but much quieter) with a DCT transmission! I would like to know what this is too.

I have the same noise i dnt mind the noise as long as car is doing fine.

After i did a few search I found the problem
Its a dual mass bearing
Its a weak point in bmw

When the temp dropped it's gotten real bad now I used to think it was something else

Anyway what is this ?
