Thinking of selling my M5..
I just got myself a 4runner and find I love going off road and crawling up trails. Plus I am always driving way faster than I should be with the M5 and every time I pull back in the garage I feel like I have gotten away with something...like not getting a ticket, or arrested..lol
I don't need to sell it, but I realized I have only put 4k miles on since I bought it in 08/2016. It's in perfect shape, runs mint and hasn't ever had a tune on it or piggy back. (I bought a JB4 used and it never worked from day one. I will include it with the car, if you get it to work...good for you ) Am I crazy? Will I miss it? I dunno.. I am 2nd Owner purchased 08/16 w/ 33914mi it now has 37963mi 1st Owner was a Sales Manager at Global Imports CPO until 8/19 Brakes maintenance as well I think, need to double check 38k Miles Garage Kept WBSFV9C54ED097204 Original Window Sticker Available $113,425.00 2014 M5 CPO Space Gray Comp Package Drivers Assistance Plus Executive Package Lighting Package B&O Sound Basically everything except night vision and rear entertainment. Absolutely no known issues whatsoever. Car is damn near perfect. No curb rash, tires in good shape. Minor dings (normal driving wear) on front bumper. Charcoal Filters removed, hi flow air filters installed. Cyba 90mm exhaust tips. OEM CP tips available. 57k Drives it away. |

Sorry bud, but $57k is not doable. These M5s are depreciating like a rock and with the AWD one right around the corner, it's going to be hard to get the money you're asking. GL though. Manheim numbers are brutal right now.

Don't I know it! Right now I have the best garage I could have ever hoped for. 14 M5 CP, '13 4Runner Trail nicely modded and an 05 FJR1300. My own personal dream car garage. If my teenage self could see me now, he'd be very proud lol |

I would do it now if you're going to do it. As soon as the new M5 is revealed, the market value for the "old" M5s will drop like a rock. I'm in the process of selling mine to my service advisor.
2013 - 41K Miles - 2 years left on the warranty. KBB says 41K with "good" condition. That's a 76K hit. Depreciation is a bitch. I'm not going to wait for it to get worse, not that it could get much worse than that though. Then again, if there's nothing out there that interests you. Maybe just hold onto it. They won't dip sub 35 for at least another year or two (guesstimation). My 2 cents.

What most don't realize is that the LCI Comp Package cars will hold value MUCH better than the 2013 and non-comp 14+ cars. Nice low mileage 14+ comps are $60s all day.

Mannheim numbers for most COMP M5s are $40k-$50k with 20k-50k miles.

Depends on what you're looking for. I see high mileage '13s selling for under $40k already.
Stock 14/15 with a $100k sticker are at $40-$45 depending on the miles. COMP packages are ranging from $45-55. It's rare to see an M5 sell for over $60 unless it has every single option and under 10k miles.

I posted my 2014 M5 for sale with 23,500 miles and just want to warn you about people on the forums who will low ball you. There are people who will try to flip cars and ask for unrealistically low deals. If you are serious about selling your car, post it on official sites like autotrader. Also go to your local dealership and carmax to get your trade-in / dealer value, which is usually very low, and how much they sell similar cars for that are CPO.
I was asking for $60k but ended up making an agreement with a friend to buy it for $57k in August/September when my 2018 911 C2 S arrives.
