Nah ... it was an amateur pilot with an unauthorized, not insured, not bonded, 3rd party company modifying Airbus parts.

Tires have a speed rating for a reason... They are actually capable of doing the speeds they are rated to!

It's legal to drive that fast in Germany and many do it occasionally. You get used to it

There is no doubt the speedlimiter is removed.
When the limiter was still on 305km/h (by the M-drivers package)
we've already seen 301km/h verified by GPS.

See this short movie:


The speedo was doing a little over 310km/h at that run.
So when driving 327km/h on the speedo, the GPS would show about ~310km/h.

The tires used are Michelin Pilot SuperSport 21"

Theoraticly the M5 can do about 360km/h on the speedo in 6th gear.
