Advice please
Hi,
I've got a Sept 2012 M5 (DCT) with 50k now on the clock, I've been experiencing a judder when sometimes pulling off and more noticeably when reversing even when not on a gradient. Took into the dealership and they replaced the dual clutch under warranty. Prior to taking it in I noticed it taking off mostly in 2nd gear from a standing start which I know is common, I specifically asked the dealership to set the transmission to re-adaptation mode but since it's still taking off in 2nd I'm thinking that they didn't do this? They also changed the transmission oil. Any idea what could be causing this judder even with a new clutch fitted? Any advice on next steps would be greatly appreciated |

I have 56k and no judder. Oem clutch Hum. Were you under 50k when they replaced it? I need to look into them replacing mine then. All our cars start in 2nd gear sometimes. Sucks. I can't think of a reason why your car judders on takeoff though.

I had it replaced last week so yes post 50k miles, could it be DCT software related? Gearbox is also quite jerky in the sense when pulling off sometimes it can knock your head back quite a bit.
Could these just be characteristics of the gearbox? |

Mine judders in reverse sometimes when coming off my drive (slight incline) doesn't judder after that only when first started and reversed.
I've done 8000 miles
