2014 M5 quote

MSRP: $120,005.00
Sale Price: $116,475.00
Invoice: $111,545.00 (can't verify since bmwconfig doesn't have 2014m5)
Dealer Fee: $499.00
MF: 0.0013
Residual: 60 for 12k per hearr, 36 months
Credit: $1,500.00. Claims BMW doesnt honor loyalty discount

$1,481.00 per month plus sales tax

Sounds like a terrible deal?

I don't know the market in CT but that's a pretty bad deal by CA standards. Deals here are close to invoice. The March BMWFS residual should be 60% for 12k. 58% should get you 15k. This applies to all markets. And yes, the loyalty credit is replaced by the $1500 buildout credit for now.

My CA balked when I tried to get him to sell at invoice. "A car like this we don't need to give it away." What does that even mean?

It means he's hoping you are uniformed and emotional, and will think he is doing you a favor. Better deals are to be had, just from board sponsors alone. Take advantage of supply and demand on this one.

It's sad and just bad business practice in this day and age when consumers have easy access to internet at their fingertips.

As I was walking out, he said if I present to him competitive numbers from other dealers, he would fight for me and try to get a better deal with his manager.

It means u should go somewhere else and when he calls you, you can tell him you bought it elsewhere. What dealership by the way? I used to go to bmw north haven, and they sucked.

Funny you mention. I bought a z4 and a 328 from them. A year and half ago I stopped by to lease a m3 and they trying screwing around with me. Ended up at Bridgeport and got the m3.

I was at Bridgeport.

I bought my e46 330 and M3 from bmw NH, called for the f10 m5 and guy never called me back. Not to mention they literally broke my M3 by causing an smg error during service which never went away.

For those on the forums, there's no reason to do business with guys that act like they are doing us a favor when they're clearly not. Obviously there are exceptions, like the Steve Thomas guys.

My price was 114 and I did 102 with tax and tire and wheel in the final.

I'd say get them down.

from my local dealership...

M5 is a specialty vehicle with a MSRP of over 100k & BMW only gives us a handful of them to sell every year.
We normally sell them for MSRP plus a $1,000.00 premium charge
The silver one on my floor has a MSRP of $113,425.00 + $1,000.00 = $114,425.00 - March BMW option credit $1,500.00
Sale price today is $112,925.00 + tax & tags / lease inception fees

yeah no thanks. lol.

I wanted to thank you guys for all your input and advices regarding leasing this vehicle. I ended up leasing a 2014 M5 with David and the entire transaction was smooth and no bs. He gave me straight answers and quotes, which was a great buying experience and I know I'll be going back to him for future M cars.

I can't wait until the car is delivered!
