Compared to that... I don't think the new sound is that cool. Long live the V10. Give me the V10 in that body with 2 turbos.

Why???//

You must not like sports cars then. Because most of them have that back fire noise that you called farting. Ever watch ALMS racing series or DTM etc. You will hear it very often during down shifts and braking zones. It is from excessive unburnt fuel. I know I can hear it in my E92 car during sudden deceleration and downshifting. Just because of that I can't wait to downshift with high rpms on the rev.

The backfire sound is classic sports car sound and they should not get rid of it.

Agreed! The list of cars that can compare an e60 exhaust note is very short and frankly the F10 is not on it.

you are right. I love the blipping between shifts. I hate how my 550 F10 has no auditory confirmation when i shift or accelerate. It is so boaring.
