Its a 550i with M5 body parts, but it doesn't have the rear brake setup nor the DCT transmission.

What seems the "logical" answer to some, fortunately isn't that for others.

I'm so glad that we are individuals with individual preferences and priorities. Otherwise the world wuld be a much more boring place to be!

You could also argue, why buy a M5 when you could have bought a Porsche Panamera instead? After all a M5 is just a polished 520d F10 (and a LCI 550i is even closer to a M5, sharing the same engine architecture)... Or why buy a M3 when a Boss 302 Laguna Seca is quicker and cheaper?

No cross drilled rotors on rear brakes, and no M-DCT transmission, and no M5 front seats. Strange thing is that for the money he/she spent on all the mods, easily could have got a real M5. Take all the M5 badges off it, and it's still a nicely modded 550i, if it's even a 550. Could be a 528 or 535.
