Hello All,

I have tendered a few posts over the past couple of weeks and my introduction is of course lacking without photos of the stable. Attached, you will find my first rendition. The images taken today are of my 2013 F10 M5 SingG. Modifications include: BPM stage-II, RPI DPs and GTM exhaust, RK Intakes, SSP Spec-R clutch, KW V3 coilovers, Dinan sway bars, RW front spoiler and diffuser painted satin black, IND trim, satin black kidneys, satin black (painted) door handle inserts, satin black center bumper scoop. The car is currently configured for the track and hence sports VMR 20" wheels. I have a set of 21 " HRE S101s, satin gold fascia, gold polished lip and satin black inner barrel scheduled to arrive from the factory in a few weeks. Also in process is a custom standalone Aquamist system and AWRON gauge "cluster." I should have updated photos by the month's end.

Other members to the stable include an e92 M3 (ESS SC and Innotech F1 in process), an E70 X5 3.0si custom build (ESS SC, KW, Velos etc.), an E34 M5 and a 2016 X5M. I will share photos here progressively as time allows.

I look forward to more active participation on the forum!

Love it !

How come the VMR 20's over the factory 343's? Downgrade in the performance department if you ask me, especially since you mention a track setup. Surely, a forged 19" setup would be more suitable for the track?

Wholly agreed regarding performance however prefer not to thrash the stock wheels kerb hunting!

Indeed I did and it performs phenomenally well; smooth, instantaneous shifts without the slightest inclination to slip. Great product!

An especially kind comment coming from you; I followed all of your previous builds and certainly took some inspiration therefrom.

Many thanks. VMRs are a great value, in particular when maintenance is not a chief concern is it is with my HRE S101s...

Very nice! Which track do you frequent? I would've thought the e92 M3 would be better to get your tracking fix (assuming its road course, not 1/4 mile)....the f10 M5 is just too porky, despite your attention to the suspension.

Primarily Sonoma, and yes, the M5 is husky to say the least; but its girth makes turning a fast lap time, say faster than a GT3 RS on a given day, all the more satisfying (and before that debate ensues, yes, I acknowledge the role of the driver here). As for the e92 M3, I love to track said car, but it is designated as my wife's toy and therefore my access is somewhat, ahem, limited, at least as it relates to putting in laps.

That's a bold statement concerning a GT3RS, lol. But then I reread your mod list and the power difference is significant. Still, I have to ask, what year RS do you refer to? I've run against 997.2 RS at Big Willow in my track prepped 350z, and they are damn fast in stock form. Can only imagine what the 991 variant can do.

(and yes yada, yada, driver skills, etc)

I am not sure as to the year, but it was a later model in the orange and black livery. I'm sure the driver had something to do with it, but I care not. On that day, my saloon was faster!

Just received word from the distributor, the HREs will be ready next week. With luck the installation will similarly occur then. I will post pics as soon as possible.
