Usually they arrive at dealers in Aug/Sept, so I guess we could work back from that.

Production begins July 2014. US Deliveries will be mid August. European delivery will begin August 1 or August 14th roughly.

Do you know when they will release the order guides for MY2015? Around May?

Usually it is Late May or early June. They don't release early because they don't want to takeaway sales from 2014 cars.

Also this year I'm not expecting any significant innovation - model will be same more or less.

I can confirm with David but looks like stealth.pilot has posted some good rough time frames.

Will this be the final f10 m5 push before the new model? What tweaks can you envisage the my2015 having over today's model?

I think you have to look at other models to get an idea of what may be trickled into the F10 M5 for the 2015 Model Year. For example the 2015 M3/M4 is getting something called Pedestrian Detection or something like that as part of its Drivers Assistance Package. I'm willing to be the M5 will get this starting in 2015 also.

It's almost like how the E60 M5 got soft close doors starting with the 2008 model year due to its LCI and the fact that the 7-Series was getting Soft Close Doors before the 2008 E60 M5 went into production.

I bet you we will see some minor tweaks here and their for the 15' M5. I know for the M6 and M6 Gran Coupe, they have yet to get the new iDrive scratch pad controller knob. I just wonder if there are going to be any more updates to the M5's steering or suspension, but I'm guessing probably not. On the other hand the F10 M5 still has another 3 years of full production before they stop and the 2019 G30 M5 hits the market. I'm sure that in the next 3 years we'll see further changes and we can get ideas from what's going on with other models.

Is there a new/more advanced ped system? If you have a M5 equipped with night vision, you have the ped detection. It works with n/v, so if you don't have that then you don't have the detection. It's basically just a icon in the heads up and iDrive screen. It's only active while the n/v is active. Someone coded a 6er or M6 to be always active, but the same code doesn't work on the M5 for some reason.

I don't think 2015 model year will have anything new.. feature wise.

AMG just came out with touch controller and heads up display. As far as I am aware, there's nothing new in the industry that BMW doesn't already have equipped in the 2014 model year.

I've got a 2014 and it has the pedestrian warning. It came with the driver assist plus pkg.
