I opted for neither and could care less. Got the car mainly for the driving dynamics, its illustrious heritage, inspiring stance, also was my dream car while growing up. Opting for luxury maybe seems a decade or so out (for me).
That said, B&O is a more functional option if you had to pick between it and full leather. You'll need to let it age a month or so before the fidelity settles. It is significantly superior to the HK system across the entire frequency band.

I have a leather dash in my 2015 550, prior to that, a leather dash was not very readily available on the 550's.
Frankly, neither I nor my passengers have noticed any difference. Perhaps a different color, other than black, would highlight the leather more. I actually like the look of the B & O stainless steel grill covers and the rising speaker in the middle of the dash.
