I doubt that M5 is stock. FF can pull on 458s as seen here

458s can walk M5s/M6s
M5 needs to be pumping out serious power to outgun that thing!

very unlikely that a stock m5/6 could take the ff, unless the ff has a Problem (or fuel related Problem..)

ff vs 911 Turbo, where the ff has 7mph more topspeed, see 4:07min (25 secs for 175mph..)

i dont blame GT board for that, but you never now if owners admit that his car may have a small black box in it

I traded my M6 and R8GT for an FF ... not that I car about speed with my commute route but the car is insanely fast. Literally Ferrari's best kept secret.

Very nice! I used to think it's the ugliest Ferrari of all time (along with the Cali), but seeing it more at the dealership these days, I must say it has really grown on me. The design is starting to appeal to me and I certainly prefer the FF's interior over the F12. Congrats

And the FF engine sounds like heaven. Real power from a real NA engine. Can't go wrong no matter how the body style looks, well mostly.

You and I are thinking alike.... I was seriously looking at a few FF's the other day online for pricing. A nice compact 4 seater that could replace my RS7

Pls do it I can't afford it at the moment. For some strange reason, the FF sounds better than the F12.

Its all very interesting how this came about but the wife told me her parents are moving in for a year while they build a house and parking will be an issue i.e. trade sell or trade a car LOL. I responded well if that's the case I am getting a Ferrari, she shook her head LOL. Anyhow it happened and I could not be happier, best 4 seater car on the planet. It is a huge head turner, more then the R8 even, and I absolutely LOVE LOVE the sound. There is actually 2 gear boxes in the car one for the front axle and one for the rear - so you never get that 4WD push/pull feeling - it feels like a RWD ride. Again I can't tell you how incredible it sounds - goose bumps. Best part about this all is that I get to drive it in the winter. Crazy!

Cons are the Navi (its so bad I won't even talk about it).

You start to actually love the look after a while. Best part is that I am 6'3 and I comfortably sit in the back. They actually raised it so you get more of a cockpit view to the road.

I need to go drive one and a local dealer just got one in (1 prev owner car). Oh I didnt even check my nav on the 458 yet... there is a nav? LOL I also find the radio to be not so good, in fact quite bad but then I bought the car for the engine bass. Its all about that bass.

I have to agree with you guys. When I first saw the FF in pictures, I thought "WTF was Ferrari thinking!!". But now, after seeing it in the flesh anumber of times, I have done a 180. I think it is an amazing looking car that pictures do it absolutely no justice. If I had the money, the FF would be in my garage.

Ferrari nailed the FF. This is Ferrari's daily driver, a new endeavor for the company, so the drivetrain, comfort, amenities, and styling must deviate from the traditionally more exotic models, all while retaining the heritage, performance, and character of the brand. So, people should not contrast the FF with other Ferraris, rather they should compare it with the other 'exotic' four-passenger super vehicles such as the Bentley GT, Panamera Turbo S, Aston Martins, and 911 Turbo S (stretch comparison, but still technically four passenger). Really, there aren't many vehicles in this segment, rendering the FF the clear favorite. If you want wild styling and impracticality, go with the 458 or 599; If you want something a little more practical and understated yet still 100% Ferrari, go with the FF.

Specs are 3.5 0-60 and a low-to-mid 11 second 1/4.

I saw an FF recently with this wheel and finish (but Rosso Fiorano exterior). It was stunning!

If you want a nice FF well priced here is one that I think is incredible. I remember looking at this (after I bought mine) and thinking WOW. BTW I also have their 7 year maintenance plan, it covers everything. They even replaced my wipers the other day "no charge".. I was shocked. I have become addicted to their brand.. I get it now!

I haven't seen any US testing. Some of the European mags were able to get the following:

Quattroruote:
0-100 km/h: 3.59s
0-200 km/h: 10.9s
1/4m: 11.4 @ 204.5 kmh/ (127 mph)

Automobilismo:
0-100 km/h: 3.5s
0-160 km/h: 7.4s
0-200 km/h: 11.0s
0-260 km/h: 19.7s

Auto Motor Sport:
0-100 km/h: 3.9s
0-200 km/h: 11.6s
1/4m: 11.8 @ 201 km/h (124.9 mph)

I have a suspicion that the Italian mags were with roll-out factored in.

Yeah, indeed. I have not touched the Satnav myself as well. When I was collecting the car, i told the sales guy to make it quick. I only wanted to know enough to drive and park the car. As I have test driven the Italia before, there wasn't much to learn anyway. I am still trying to figure out all the controls. The stereo is garbage and sounded like it's from a cheap portable radio. I only ordered it to listen to the radio for traffic updates. I used to think the professional radio on BMWs were bad...
