OK makes sense now (was confused by the $$$). I would budget £20K+ for M6 & that's the one that I would recommend as (a) your wife has expressed an interest & (b) another M5, regardless of LCI & CP will not feel as different to your current M5 as M6 (3dr, lower, unique interior, CF roof, not so common in UK, etc...).

I also prefer the looks of the GC to the 3dr.

I would recommend test driving M5 & M6 with & without the CP (may as well make the most of the opportunity). Would be interested to read what you think of whatever you choice to test.

LOL: only if it's an outdoor pool (haven't opened ours for the last two seasons due to the weather).

Perhaps I should let my wife drive mine, then again, perhaps not...

M6 CP for is my choice. +1 for an awesome wife (as long as shes not cheating... hehehe, just kidding)

If you go for M6, CP should be a must, two doors sports car.

She watched the video withthe grand coupe vs ther merc and likes that a lot as well. We are going to have a drive of the M6 saturday at Elms in Cambridge. I really didn't think there would be a huge difference between my 13 M5 and the 14 model. I really feel like the only difference would be the color and steering wheel. Actually it's day 3 and she's still on about it so I'm amazed to say the least. I've told her a few times that they just don't come stock like that. She then told me to "enjoy and that the finished product would be about 2 years away". So after seeing/driving the M6 I think the decision will be made. I think they have a GC so I will take one of those out as well. I'll keep you posted saturday afternoon.

If she was that would make more sense lol. No really she has always been like this so it's not that shocking. I don't think it's always at this level, but I figure I need to jump on the chance. Plus I don't have a car now so I'm driving a rented X3...
