Some of that may be accurate, but the two center slats are not even slanting the correct direction. They should slant outwards instead of inwards. See this spy photo to see what I mean

Someone needs to take note and consider the manufacture of that front end, bonnet & mirrors.. The styling of the new F10 in this instance is not a patch on the styling that was the E60.. Its flat fronted and closer to the latest Audi's than members would like to admit..This may well be one 5 series that will benefit more from tasteful after market enhancements, in my opinon.. like RDSport.. or possibly this render version if someone is brave enough... I have no doubt that the addition of a Hartge or Hamann lip spoiler may help.. but again its still personal preference with even the addition of one of them....

Yes it is a shame that the artist has not stuck to the source material because these are really good and add some realism to the look of the car .
But as always it is the details that escape the artist.

There has been some excellent interpretations of the M5 , especially by Jon Sibal , Alpine325ci , Harold Wood and a few others whose names escape me.

Unfortunately Because BMW have brought forward their exciting Connect Drive Roadster Concept Car to Geneva , The BMW M5 Concept Car moves to the Shanghai autoshow in late April.

Why Shanghai , Why China?

The M5 Concept car now moves to Shanghai in late April partly due to market demands.

China has seen a very strong growth of BMW M products in the past year in fact China is the market with the highest growth for M Product in 2010.
China has grown to become BMW's second largest export market after the USA.
And is the first market for M product to show rapid growth since the US in the early 00's.
Sales of M products have been exceptional in China Thanks to the M3 and the X-M's being immensely popular.
And the recently unveiled 1 Series M Coupe will soon be shown in China.

I hear that Pre-owned M5's are heavily sought after too. And that dealers in China can barely keep them in stock.

The M5 Production car will debut at the IAA in Frankfurt this September.
But first information will be available mid-summer.

My sincere appologies to whomever did this original render, its an amazing render, but I wanted to try my hand at reversing the intake scoop in order to be more accurate to what the car probably will look like. Here it is:

Don't you guys think the hood will have a "bulge" like the E9X M3?

Looks very similar to the 5 series M sport package.

I suspect what you see on the 535/550 is what you will see on the M5. Minus the fog lights of course.
