Upgraded Stering Wheel & Shift Paddles

M5 Owners -

The NJ BMW CCA chapter arranged a tour of the VPC in Newark, NJ this morning. It was a great event - so thanks to the VPC staff for hosting us. One of the presentations we had was from the M Performance Parts manager for North America. Here's a link to the official website:

As you can see, there's nothing for the M5 yet. They are starting to think about what products to develop so I asked about an M Performance steering wheel similar to the M6 wheel with the much better/nicer "M-specific" paddles. He said it was something they are considering if there is enough interest for it. He mentioned they monitor the forums to get a feel for what the market may want. So now's our chance - respond to this thread if you'd like to see them offer an upgraded steering wheel with the M6 paddle shifters.
