Which cat back exhaust to fit that doesn't require any cutting?
I've always put a different exhaust on my M cars previously a Militek and then a Tubi but only the rear section, previously fitted exhausts have "slipped on" so no cutting needed.
Are there any that will slip on as I'd like to return the car to stock when I sell it. From looking at the exhaust threads the one I'd like Eisenmann sport or race seem to involve cutting. Any advice would be appreciated.

No cutting for E Race or sport. Totally bolt on. Well, they do have to cut off your factory ones first in order to slip the Eisenmann on.
I had the E Race and so do hundreds of people ... it should take about 1.5 hrs to 2 hrs to get it measured, align, cut and bolt on. |

From what I know, the stock F10 exhaust is one piece. So if you only want section 3 (mufflers) changed, the stock exhaust must be cut.
Stock mufflers can be welded back on after. If you don't want stock exhaust cut, you have to change section 2 (mid section / cross pipe) and 3 (mufflers). |

Here in North America, if you want to put stock muffler back on, the better option is to have exhaust sleeves used to reconnect the muffler back to factory pipe. Seldom, you will see they are to be re-welded back on.

So is RPis exhaust..GT, GTS and GTM.. Meisterschaft and Eisenmann if you order the X pipe mid section..then no cutting either.. If you fit any cat back system, your exhaust will be removed as one piece..how you get it home is another question its 10 feet long..

Ah OK I'm perhaps not using the right terminology to describe what I mean.
By "cat back" I think I mean the rear muffler section, on the e92 M3 this was available excluding the mid section as a slip on to the existing pipe work. (the Tubi Rumore was about 4 feet long) Like this: The MPE and Akra are far too rich for me I couldn't spend that on an exhaust £7,000 + fitting in the UK. It's just the mufflers I want to change and from what I've read here that will require cutting. Sorry if I'm reading this wrong and thanks for the help!

If you reinstall..use clamps to reattach.. Put me off..not sure about sleeves but sounds better.. Beautiful set was for sale with low miles in classifieds here in the U.S.. GBP getting much stronger after the election..so you're getting a good deal if you ship? Just took another look..there's also an Akra for sale at good price..
