Couple new things added.

Today I ended up putting spacers on and side bumper reflectors.
I stayed away from the rears as my pry bar was bending too much and I was afraid of scratching the paint.
Couple observations:

1. I remember Dave talking about rust build up on the wheel hubs. 3 out of 4 had rust and one looked brand spanking new (look at pics). I thought that was weird.

2. One of the pics shows the under tray of the car. Is the little lump in the middle a jack up point?

3. The dp's are not on yet, but they came in.....

Where did you get that car jack? Does it fit the m5's jack points reasonably well? Thanks.

That's what I use for the front and it works fine.

You can cut a tiny piece of wood and fit flush into the jack point. That's what I did. Works great.

Believe it or not this jack is 15 years old and I used to use it on my rice rocket, when I first started building it. It fits the jack points like a glove and bought it from Kragen.

What kind of jack do you use for the center?

10mm in the rear and 12mm in the front.

Downpipes first. My friend is making an o2 simulator together with microcats and he claims we will get no CEL. Hopefully I have them by this weekend.

Looking good. You can use dental floss to pop out the rear reflectors.

Let me go try right now. I will tell you in a bit if it was a good idea.

Use two strands for added strength and pull.

Believe it or not I bought this jack (the one on the right) in the 60s (only rebuilt once) when I was drag racing. It's a Hein Werner 1 1/2 ton and the lift pad sits lower and raises higher than the smaller jack on the left. I found I do have to use the other jack to lift one side of the car slightly so the body of the Hein Werner will clear the under tray to reach the lift point.

Jacks are like Vino, the older the better.
