X-Pipe

My exhuast system currently has no mufflers, resonators or cats. Would adding an x-pipe change the sound/make it louder?

I doubt it.
You are basically full open it sounds like.
You might get some better tone due to the design of a companies products.
Do you like the current exhaust tone you have with everything removed or is it just too loud ?

I love the way it is now. I was just wondering if I could make it even louder, but I don't really think it would change that much.

Putting an x-pipe will reduce the cabin noise

I don't think you can make it louder then what you already have.
What did you do for the rear mufflers ?
Just remove it complete or did you use an aftermarket brand ?

I have the turner muffler delete system, which is kind of a rip off at $1500

Get a tune and turn the cold start off. I puckered every time I started my car because the entire neighborhood could hear my car start. I tried not to start the car before 7am and after 10pm. LOL. Now it is fine with the cold start off.

I have a X-over, I think it removes a bit of the rasp.

Haha well they never really speak to us so maybe that's why. I love hearing the cold start every morning.

With a true x pipe you should hear maybe a more deeper tone but not louder nor quieter. I may be wrong but I believe the existing OEM system has an x pipe already.

Yeah, it is a bit of a mashed H pattern. I don't think it would do much to redirect a hot high velocity flow. Mine is an actual X pattern where the two paths are actually forced to cross.

Why the S63 didn't come stock with an x-pipe is beyond me, but since the S63TU has one, only thing left to do now is go larger piping via a setup from M6Beast.

That's not an F10 M5 exhaust. It has two separate mufflers.

It's an aftermarket F10 M5 exhaust, but my point is you've still got an x-pipe in the stock exhaust on your cars.
