Why you should run the JB4 + Flash instead of just the Flash
This brief article explains the importance of using a JB4 even if your BMW is already Flash Tuned. It specifically explains N54 applications but it mostly applies to all engines. 1- Advanced Safety system

To clarify since the topic says JB4+Flash:
If boost exceeds your safety settings, the JB4 reverts to the stock map ^^ more clarity. JB4 Map reverts to Map 4 so no boost additive. Car doesn't go to 'stock', rather the baseline map on the DME as flashed. |

Sure - if the JB4 senses anything going wrong it essentially reverts to what the DME baseline tune is. i.e. either stock or whatever flash is on there. For any high boost runs, the JB4 is very essential to make sure all is safe. It saved my motor many times (like meth running out etc.)

I run the BM3 OTS Tune (Stage 2) with my JB4 on 24psi (on Map 6). Car runs amazing!
