re-coating factory CF spoiler?

It appears that the clear coat or gel coat on my spoiler is coming off. Does anyone know if the factory spoiler is cleared or gel coated?

it's clear. the problem with repairing C/F is you lose the weave pattern wherever you sand. At least that is my assumption, i've always turned people down when they ask me to repair it.
