Gas Door Spring

Anyone having issues with their gas door spring failing? Just had mine fail for the 4th time since March...getting a little annoyed tbh. I have a sub in the trunk but I've had subs for over 15 years and have never experienced a problem like this with any of my other cars....

Defo the sub mate......same thing happened to me twice in one month after I installed a 12" Ground Zero sub. No issues before the sub! Good thing it's a cheap replacement, cos my sub aint going nowhere!

Yea not sure what the actual issue was. Last time I got it fixed they said they have a replaced a different part each time but it seems to be holding up for now (knock on wood). Such a stupid problem to have with such an expensive car but oh well, like you said, sub isn't going anywhere!
