The ///M5 is a "Smart Car"!

One day I will get around to reading the manual to this thoroughbred,...but until then, I'll accept every new find as they occur! Case in point,...if radio is off,...there is no need to 'reach for the radio button' as most of us do! One only needs to press the "volume" button and the B&O system come to life.

How cool is that?

....note, this prolly happens on the other 5-Series too.

Still, it's always fun to find new features of your car that you didn't know about! Thanks for sharing.

I got one.....

Guess this only for DCT guys. When you're parked with the parking brake on and you want to reverse, you don't have to release the parking brake. You just give it a few taps on the gas and the parking brake will automatically release itself.

I haven't tried it when parked and you want to move forward. Only tried it when parked and I wanna reverse.

Found a new one yesterday! If wanting to turn the radio on upon opening the door,...there is no need to press the engine "Start" button,...a pressing of the radio button alone will bring your audio alive!

It works on the manual too. As soon as you start to let out the clutch to go the parking brake will release.
