BIMMERPOST NEWS G-Power Teases 6XX Horsepower F10 M5 The BMW F10 M5 has joined the stable of G-Power, a BMW tuner which has turned out some of the most potent BMWs in recent years. And they now have their energies directed a BMW M's newest flagship sedan. They've teased their upcoming G-Power F10 M5 with: Quote:
To compare, the 2012 M5 comes from the factory with its BMW V8 bi-turbo pumping out 560hp and 501 lb-ft. Seen here is G-Power's development F10 M5 on their dyno with what appears to be larger exhaust tip from their exhaust system. We can't wait to see what else they have in store for the new M5. |

There is already a 541 WHP N54. There is also 4 single turbo kits in simultaneous development by Vishnu, HPF, some guys in LA and one other company that I can't recall the name of. Once that happens; it will be a very tight race.

But there is no replacement for displacement. With both motors on stock internals, the F10 will win the HP competition. |

I wouldn't trust the stock internals with that much power on an N54. Likely this kit from G Power is going to develop 600+ with just bolt on's and a tune.

Full bolt on 335 easily puts down 380-410whp (depending on a dyno)...and thats with tiny turbochargers running at 16psi or so. I am not sure what PSI the stock turbo's are running on the F10 as i haven't read up on it very much, but if they are any bigger or even the same size/boost as the 335 (highly unlikely), i doubt that they can't squeeze enough HP to put down well over 600whp. Another thing to consider is that BMW constantly under rates their engines, so when the true numbers start rolling in on the new F10, we will be able to see what they have to work with. |

My fiance bought me a car & driver (i think) when we were in the airport because it had the new m5 on it.
only thing that is a little squirly with the car is that they play back recorded engine noise through the stereo because the cabin is so quiet it blocks out all the awesome noise. any one else hear about this?
