Remember this is a summer car and since the values only moved around 2Gs the past 6 months, I think you will see the average 50 number later in the summer. Somewhere in the high 40s late in 2017. Using your trend you could pick up a 14 this time next year near 40?
I guess its possible but at some point they have to level for some period of time before tanking again.

Anybody have experience with how the e60 M5 went? I had a '10 but forget the dep curve...

Subb'd. This will be a great thread for people who are in the market for 2014's for the next several months, and/or year(s). Maybe make a sticky with monthly updates?

Thanks DenverF10M5!

I agree with your statement. I don't see the average price dropping to $50k next month when it's taken 6 months to drop from $54k to $52k. I'm not sure what Manheim is basing this projection off of.

Oh apologies I misread and thought you were projecting this. Not that I know shit. I know that here in the northeast these cars have very slow sales in the winter for obvious reasons and most dealers don't want them around until the grass is green. We alll know the story.

Nice... I am looking in the 40-45K mark. The question is do I wait until the the 14's get to that price or jump the gun and just get a 2013 now.

Wait for 14 to include LCI updates such as steering wheel, lighting, etc. The steering wheel vibration maybe a bit more subdued as well... good luck in your search...

What's the chance of putting something like this together for the F06 M6 GC, or even the F80 M3?

Would be appreciated...no biggie if you're not feeling like it...

This seems accurate. For the Record. I just got a fully loaded 2013, with 47k for $45,000. I spent 2000 for a brand new LCI steering wheel + airbag, and 1800 for LCI headlights. 2014s right now were definitely out of my price range. Above $55,000

Lol they sure did. I was only basing my statements off the actual auction history. Manheim actually places a higher value on these cars in the Northeast for whatever reason.

My 2008 M5 was totaled in 2014, payout was $34K. List was 98K, bought in late 2007.

That's 34% of original sticker after 6 years.

Don't know if this helps?

I didnt track depreciation because I didn't care. I bought it because I wanted an M5 and I just enjoyed driving it, and didn't look at the value again until it got totaled. It was nice to get a 34k check when it got totaled, helped towards the new one.

I think if you buy a car and then worry about depreciation you'll just get ulcers.

How's your oil consumption? That's been an issue with more 13s than 14+s or so I've heard, hence why I'm asking.

I had mentioned 47k miles. My mistake. I bought it with about 44 or 45. I have put about 3000 miles and have not had one issue with oil consumption.

I will report back whenevr i do.

I noticed many customers in my country are selling their F10 M5s now but it will usually calm down just before and after the launch of the new M5 and the prices most often rise again slowly when there are less cars on the open market.

Just stay calm, now is the worst time to sell.
