Lease Transfer: 2016 BMW M6 Competition Edition

I'm entertaining the possibility of transferring my lease. I would like to mod this car, but I don't want to destroy my warranty. I would rather purchase a used 2014 M5 and do what I want without worrying about the warranty.

This is a 2016 BMW M6 Competition Edition 1 of 100. I received an amazing deal at $1,285 per month before tax. This was a sign-and-drive lease 36/10. I have almost 1,500 miles on the car and miles will continue to gradually increase.

I put down $9,800 in MSD's and would require this amount to me, but you'll receive this back at lease completion. As an added incentive to any buyer, I will pay you for every mile I drive at the rate BMW charges per mile when purchased before lease completion.

35 months remaining
MSRP $167,195
Cap Cost $130,895
Residual I believe was 54 or 55%
MF .00069

Monthly payment is $1,285+tax

What happened? you just got this. I guess I can understand the wanting to mod and not having to worry about a warranty.

Beautiful car and great deal. Someone else is going to be very lucky.

Good luck.

I have the mod bug again and knew I should have went the used car route. I just got such an amazing deal and made an impulse decision without taking the time to think it through. I wouldn't be able to get a BEF without immediately voiding the warranty. I figure I should probably do that on a car I'm not paying this much per month.

$1300 payment
Vs $800-1000 and modded is not a bad idea.

It's almost the cheapest lease payment for an M6 on Swapalease, but has the most options by far. I'm sure this car will go fast. You're absolutely right though, I can't justify a lease payment and then modding it to include upgraded turbos. I'd hate to ruin the warranty for the life of the car.
