New ADVs on at Cars and Coffee

Hey guys, I finally got a chance to post a few pics from our last cars and coffee of the season. Last week I installed the new ADV10 Deep Concaves, specs on these:
21x9 front on 265/30, 21x11 in the rear on 295/25 MPSS.
Overall the car and wheels got a great response at our local cars and coffee event. I know aftermarket wheels aren't everyones cup of tea, but I think they do help this car stand out a bit more. Car is still stock ride height.

For the love if God, get rid of those ugly orange reflectors. Totally destroys all efforts of increasing the beauty of the car.

I've got the IND replacements, just haven't had a chance to replace them!

The wheels look clean. Is your ride height stock?

Good...Car looks great, enjoy. If you want to do them yourself it's pretty easy.

Nice wheels, but I still maintain that 20's are the visual sweet spot for the F10, regardless of model. 21's too big, IMO.

Dunno yet......I'd like to but I'd like to avoid harshness of ride you get with lowering springs sometimes.....I've had H&R on other BMWs I've had in the past and find that they do degrade ride quality....any recommendations?

Yeh I saw INDs tutorial on it, looks simple enough, will likely get to it over TG weekend.

Just make sure you have a heat gun to soften the glue on the inside of the bumper. It all has to come off.

I think it may. Heat guns are great but they get so hot they could actually damage stuff. I don't know if you have a store called Harbor Freight Tools anywhere near you but I bought my heat gun for 12 bucks and it has came in handy on all types of stupid miscellaneous applications. It's good to have.

When you install these just make sure you run your fingers all the way around where the reflector went, if there is even a tiny bit adhesive, the new reflector will not seat correctly.

I have the H&R's on my F10 M5---- they are a great form and functional mod IMHO.

The drop is not drastic or "ghetto" but instead the way the car should come from the factory. Its about 1 inch in the front and .6 of an inch in the rear. So the ride quality really doesnt change. I drove the car for about 400 miles without and then did the change and I really couldnt tell the difference whether it be on flat normal roads, bumpy roads, undulating pavement, high speed bends and sharp corners. I wont say the car is better in handling but I wont say its worse off either. H&R got it right with the F10 drop.

I have also dropped my other M's I had with springs and you are right, the ride was more harsh and the handling was impacted. I think with the limited drop on the F10 everything remains good.

The long wait is almost at an end! It'll definitely be worth it! I'm not sure if I'm gonna be able to make the Cary Cars and Coffee show this weekend b/c I'm working!
