Not to making a war but just a poll, does aftermarket intake increases 20whp+?

Hi Guys,

Not pretending to make a war but just doing a poll, since across the forum, we all have different opinions, does aftermarket intake increases 20whp+ for a car that has jb4/bcm and catless downpipe?

BASELINE: CHARCOAL FILTER DELETE ALREADY DONE.

I don't think you get 20 WHP; you get nice sound though. If you're looking for better breathing Charcoal delete & drop ins will do the trick for almost nothing.

im doing some research, it looks like guys that live at 350 feet and above they get noticeable gains on dyno and 1/4mile times, and those who don't get much gains lives at less than 350 feet above sea level.

i verified some forum users location.

pro intake guys:
dct off 748ft
m6beast 676ft
cjrdriven TN 350ft
Mr_M5Guy 1440ft
13M5F10 486ft
raza RKautowerks 430ft
Dan@BPC 350ft

I have 0 hard facts (dyno) but.. i'd personally say that gains w intakes are to be felt or had in the much hi'r speeds and rpm's as the air is much more induced lol..

W that being said i bought a Set of Msr knowing this info and honestly beenz or no beenz i could'nt be happier!

They are Sexxy Af in grill's , they Sound Nasty , and make me feel warm and fuzzzy! Thats enuff for me to justify lol

W the Old E60 m5's it was so hard to extract any power from the screem'n v10 and we paid bigg $$$ jus to get any bump in power , be it ecu flash or intakes so i believe we are very lucky w the turbooo's that a simple piggy will bump us 80hp for roughly $600 haaaa! I will also throw a wrench at ya and say my las f10 had bmc drop ins and rpi scoops and that car was jus as fast and enjoyable in seat of the pants as my brand new one w Msr's Sooooo.... idfk Honestly! I bought em for the wooosh and woow factor!
