Moonstone metallic paint

For those who have moonstone or seen in person, how would you describe it best ? For what I have seen in videos & pics , looks close to glacier silver with more sheen to it.

@dionysus Perhaps you can comment for our friend here.

He's concerned about the car having a beige tint like Cashmere Beige. Like me he has an aversion to Cashmere Beige.

He wants to know if there is any beige in Moonstone, or whether it looks more modern with a cooler grayish tint like Glacier.

Here are some reposts of Dionysus' stunning car.

This is Glacier silver. In the photos they look very similar. Of course it raises the question why you don't just get Glacier Silver since I assume that's standard and would save you $5k?

Silverish overall. In the sun orange red hues, in the shade blue purple hues.

Here's one picture (on 535d) of the 'beige' tint to Moonstone (on some panels) - this is in overcast weather. You may be able to see violet tint to bottom of front air intake and more blue-silver on rear quarter.

Moonstone is described as yellow silver. Not quite Cashmere Beige, but this is my least favourite side to Moonstone: -

Yes (although my children call it the 'white car' which it can look under the right light) - X04 paint code version (there have been others) is based on Titanium Silver. I believe current Indy paint may now be Xirallic (the Indy app seems to suggest this).

Some more pics of the different look to it (none of these pictures have been enhanced in any way, just taken on Canon digital SLR in general mode in different lighting conditions). First three are 535d with GTechniq C1 + EXO coatings, last two M5 with Modesta P-01A primer + BC-05 coating. These cars were from different paint batches (built 6 months apart) and were very slightly different from the factory as a result. The sealants have added to this (Modesta much more of a liquid gloss look IMO): -

Still tempted to try matt vinyl film, however, I fear the colour changing effects will be lost (will try one panel first).

Frozen Moonstone from the factory truly would be interesting though...
