Love most everything on the car.
Hate: Not having text or e-mail capability for I-phones. (I did on my 2011 with a Blackberry) No Spare No tire pressure display (I know it can be coded, but come on BMW, this should be a normal feature) Most all other cars show the actual pressure. No Dipstick |

Dislikes: non-extendable sun visor (im tall so i have the seat almost all the way back), sometimes when I open the door it swings back shut, occasional uncomfortable lurches off the start, decreased inclination at the front of the driver seat as compared to previous generations of BMW seats (again probably only applies to tall people) These are all just minor annoyances.
Likes: Amazing power delivery, crazy good handling for such a heavy car, lots of luxury features, excellent infotainment system, ability to code car, everything else! |

Even with 200 cell cats and E-Race muffers I still long for a more traditional V-8 sound. Oh and the check engine light. Grrrrrrrrr.

Loves with best on top: -Rear wheel drive (best drifter ever), Engine, DCT, Electrical limited slip differential, aggressive throttle response, M button
What I hate: The weight, the annoying never ending steering vibration, and the need to change tires every 3500 miles. I just can't get enough of this car. Beats a boring AWD car any day of the week. Driven the turbo S, and while impressive, i would much prefer a rear wheel drive ferrari 458 speciale. |

Thx Soooma. The beautiful thing of this car is that it takes so much before you ever get bored of her. So much to learn, I promise if you go to a track event or two, you will feel very different and will definitely feel like you can more than tame it. Amazingly powerful (especially torque), but yet predictable.

Sadly now dealing with Messed up Navigation screen issues for the second time after changing the whole unit last week thinking that this would address the issue of screen flickering - But to no avail and I have to give it back to them for a few more days which I don't mind because they usually gimme a car that will make me appreciate the M5 a lot more even with such issues! LOL Had 2 X5's and One 550i with almost no issues though to be fair and not smear BMW reputation but now have to deal with this and also deal with the scratches they inflicted on the new Unit" - that I can't seem to ignore upon direct sunlight - But what can I say, I love the car and don't mind a cranky mood every once in a while... But hey I hear ya the car is a beast even if I have to lemon it - LOL |

2300$ spent by BMW and no clue what's dimming the screen when car is hot after long sun exposure! ! Any idea? Have 328i fully loaded now that I loathe driving not because I am arrogant or think much of myself but rather because it is very much luxury oriented and not sports oriented at all though it has all sports package and M performance cosmetic package and wot not but can't wait to drive my car again... I believe an M1 or M2 is much more fun to drive than 750i but to each his own.. And again Acura TL 306 HP drove much better than this and was 5k cheaper and was faster too around 5 sec to 60 mph and up above all SHAWD which was amazing! Do I miss my Acura TL ? Only when not driving an M car - |

My car sat in the sun for a few hours today and when I strated driving it I noticed my nav screen kept dimming every 30 seconds. After driving for about 30 minutes it went away. Should I be concerned about another problem?

Like: Variability of trans, throttle and suspension modes
Dislike: I BIG TIME don't like the lack of a manual dipstick,(redundant to the super duper, vague electronic thingy) though I think BMW doesn't care, as most owners are not the "oil changing" type. |

We have agreed on hating the electronic dipstick before. I used to do all of my own work on cars, even rebuilt an engine once but those days are gone. I still remember gapping points and plugs before electronics and 100,000 mile plugs did away with that too (which is a good thing!) However I would still like to see the oil on a metal dipstick even if I don't change it myself anymore. It gives a REAL reading of the oil level and you can see the condition of the oil as well. I just don't trust the accuracy of that sensor and I will never get used to it. My E92 M3 had the same damn thing.
