hey there,
Noob question:

I try to understand a log.
can someone please explain me how to understand a log.
today i got in every run misfires and i want to see why and whats wrong.

i cant see your log for some reason however how many miles do your spark plugs have? What tune are you running? I had drivetrain errors on a stage 1 oct93 beta which cause the car to lose power, went back to stock and no issues. I am changing my spark plugs to NGK and gapping them. Then trying again. But my car is at 70k miles and possibly havent had the sparks changed and this is known to cause misfires. A bad tune can also cause knocks if pushing the engine hard. Just my two cents. I am also a new BM3 user. You can also reach out to their support.

i changed all NGK spark plugs to .022" gap and all coils.

Did you check BM3 to see if it shows any errors? What happens if you go back to stock does it misfire?

I am unsure myself how to read the logs so can't help you much, it does seem though that there was 1 knock and that is usually not good but i don't know how common those are sorry. You could try and open a support ticket too. What OST map are you running?

Cool, if its a custom HCP map you could reach out to HCP i would assume that they would be able to help. You could also load a different stage 2 tune and see if the same misfires are happening, if not it could be the tune.

I tryed other maps. But the issues is still there.

Maybe someone can see the problem in the log.

Sorry no idea but if that is happening to every map you tried then it could be an issue with cylynder 8, perhaps bad spark plug. Does the BM3 show you any error codes?

Yes show misfire on zylinder 8. i changed plugs an coils.

But problem stil there. Hmm :-/

Maybe the sparkplug has gone bad or the coil. maybe take it out and try to reinstall? Did you apply some anti-seize to the spark plugs or did they already have that? Check this link and see if you need anti-seize?

I changed all injektors and coded them with insta.

I think if you go back to stock and the issues persist you need to go and see BMW or someone to check your engine and see whats up with cylinder 8.

I agree it is odd that is getting misfires with other tunes as well.
