Highly recommend HOG BLASTER : blow dry your rims and car

Hi guys,

wanted to share this, its made by Harley and I use it on my street glide.. I also use it on my cars to blow dry the rims and get the water and spots off of anything shiny... it works wonders and the nozzle is rubber so it will not scratch anything. It makes cleaning chrome and water spots SO EASY...

for all you detail buffs out there who either wash cars or the guys who clean there own and want an easy way to dry the car, this thing works great... blows like bloody hell!!

its basically a hair dryer for your car.... sounds really silly but dammit it works! Your local Harley dealer has them and also a larger unit. Its what they wash all their bikes when you take it there. fantastic on rims, front grille, ect.

The hose can be taken off, i dont use the hose..

I use the Jetspeed blower from Chemical Guys, but this looks like a nice product. I most certainly was not expecting the unit to have that small of a footprint.

I've used this inexpensive ($30), small, light-weight yet durable and powerful hand held unit for a several years to detail my bikes. Works great and leaves one hand free to use a shammy. It has a pliable soft tip that won't nick or scratch your paint if you accidentally make contact. Everyone should have one in their garage/home.

What actually works better than a leaf blower is an air compressor with a trigger nozzle, something like this:

A leaf blower spreads the air over too broad of an area to effectively remove all of the water, whereas a compressor gives a more concentrated and powerful burst that removes all of the water you're pointing at.

I use the Makita lithium ion blower.

It is cordless and fairly light. Only catch is that it is expensive since battery and charger is not included.
