Washed, detailed, Opti'd, Tinted Pics
Took my car to Leeberbs (https://www.facebook.com/leeberbs) for tints and clear bra and also Greg at Signature Detailing in Hillsborough NJ for Opti Pro. Lee has tinted three of my cars and did the clear bra on my F10 as well - and as long as hes tinting and doing bra, Ill be bringing him my cars. Very convenient as Greg works out of Lee's shop.
Lee does top notch work and I usually wait for him to do the work since i travel from an hour away. He has no problem with me waiting and watching, and him and I tend to just shoot the sht while he works. Greg is a meticulous detailer (http://signaturedetailing.com) and this was my first experience with him. Based on reviews on this forum, I chose to go with Opti Pro, and thinking my car was so new, I thought I could get away with no paint correction and save some money. Greg convinced me the right way was to do a 1 step correction, and he even busted out the spotlights to show me why. At one point he polished one of the rear lenses with tape applied to to the half that he didnt polish and showed Lee and I the difference. Its amazing what a couple washes and a trip over from Europe will do to your paint. He even showed me all the Iron deposits that were stuck on my car. Anyway here are pics, 55% Madico Charcool Tints since many asked for pics (I like it light, imo its a nice classy touch for the M5, plus NJ is a no tint state up front). Wash, iron removal, one step paint correction polish, then Opti-Pro except where I had XPel Ultimate installed. After watching how Greg washed my car, I now realize why my other cars have always had swirls. Front plate was only in case I got pulled over on the way home since I couldnt open my windows from the tints. Not sure if Im breaking any rules by posting all this, if so sorry jason.

yes. I've seen some 15k.
I just got done detailing my DD: MKV Jetta. I detailed the car myself. Black is really hard to maintain. But I am impressed my experience in detailing is becoming more profound, and on top of that: No haze. |

Looks really good. +1 for the proper paint correction before Opti. My ED M5 paint was JACKED before my guy set to it...
