My car decided to die on me this morning
Greetings
Last night was fun, i drove around town, the usual. This morning when I started up my car and waiting for it to warm up and everything the car decided to stall and turned off. I turned it on again, it did the same. Then i get a blinnggggg drive train malfunction (for the 20th time in the cars life). I turned it off it went away. I drove to a drive thru to get some food, when i got on the road again it started stalling again. What could be happening? my car has been giving me more problems than any other car i have owned. my local bmw dealer has fixed this countless times, and now they don't even care about me, i don't get a loaner car unless i have to get in a battle for it. |

With ~40k on the clock, I think you have to have the spark plugs checked...

soooma I have been using the same BP all along, I only use BP and Shell. But I don't have one near my house. M6-Coupe I think it may be the spark plugs, I do drive it like I stole it haha.

The other day I did 4 sequential launches and after the last launch I got drivetrain heating message . It cleared up after 10 second, but later on when I dropped my car for another service, the primary print up showed the spark plug malfunction that I believe was the internal error code; however after they checked them, was told they are fine... I have only 18k on the clock after 19 months owning the car...

@M6-Coupe one the bmw technicians saw me drive the other day, he's like ahhh now i know why you are here so often haha. I don't do a lot of launches because I have bad luck with tires, I have burnout marks on my rear panel haha. Now my car is a sitting duck, I have been enjoying my Crown Vic, it sure is almost as fun as the M (sort of).

These cars are designed to be driven like this otherwise I wouldn't switch from 650i M sport package to M6. Even a day the BMW technician asked me if I push the car hard enough to avoid getting lazy ... and I'm serious he told me the exact same thing...

Greetings everyone, sorry for getting back late. The car had a minor fuel pump issue. They did not change the whole thing but it was hard for them to find the problem again when the car was in their hands.
