Couldn't find anything in a search.

Noise is a little more evident once charcoals are removed. With K&N drop ins the noise is even better. Check out this exhaustive thread on charcoal delete

Drop a K&N in there (after removing the charcoal filters) and you will get as much or more power than any intake available for a fraction of the cost.

This. No need for a $4,000,000 dollar Gruppe M Intake.

Are you going to install MSR on the M6? Or sell them?

Oh Hell Yeah!!

I just removed them and dropped some K&N in. Best $70 ever spent.

Those back bolts were knuckle busters, but still did it in about 30 min.

The intake noise is perfect. The motor growls now with a deeper tone. I drive the car enough to tell the difference immediately.

Since I am running stock exhaust, the tell tale was the fact that the car is now louder in the front than in the rear. Like my E92 ZCP was.

Thanks everyone.

Nice. I just ran out to get the proper tools. Unfortunately I left all of my tools in NY when I moved here... So, starting over with that now too. I did this on my last M6, hopefully it's just as easy. I'm doing it now, before I leave my office.

Get the best of both worlds: CF and lots of whoosh. Also, the elbow on MSR looks to fit better, unless I have one of your pre-LCI intakes.
