Ordered 4 of these elusive filters you guys love, i'll report back when they arrive.
It's kinda of annoying having to buy them in europe and japan, they're pricey too, $100 a filter? wtf? -R |

https://www.blitz.co.jp/products/int...uspower_e.html They are made in japan, but nobody sells them anymore in the US. The part number is 26003. I'll have to 3d print an adapter flange to mate the 4.8" opening to a 3.5" opening for our intakes, but that's easy stuff. I'll keep you posted. -R |

I don't know if MSR uses Blitz filters, but they do look very similar. It would also explain the amplified noise/flutter from the intakes. Blitz filters have been around a long while in the japan import scene. They are known for sound and flow rate, not filtration quality unfortunately.

Just did this mod last night, took all of 30 minutes, and threw in K&N's...haven't tested it out much but I'm sure it'll help the car breathe better, those charcoals look pretty restrictive.

Those Blitz filters are what we run on the front of my turbos on the Porsche (Literally they are on the compressor cover). On my old 3.6ltr @ 43-44psi with Precision Gen 2 6466 I made 1350rwhp with no issue with those filters.
Need to order a second set soon because my brother is going to be using my old set on my old 6466's with his 3.8ltr 997TT build.

My stock motor (996TT) made 868rwhp SAE and went 149mph in the 1/4 (4.89 60-130 as well). My brothers stock motor (997TT) made 897rwhp SAE and went 147 (the 997TT gear box sucks so he had to shift to 5th, but went a 4.7 60-130). Both cars had same basic mods, upgraded BL intercoolers, Y-pipe, PT5857s (my turbos), TiAL A3076 (my brothers), Tilton Triple Disk (7.5" Carbon/Carbon), stock 6speed transmissions, and 1000cc Injectors (I had a fuel system because the 996 didn't come dual pump from the factory like the 997).
With a built 3.6ltr and GTX35s I was the first Porsche to make 1000+rwhp on E85 back in 2011 car went 3.92 60-130s and trapped 155mph in the 1/4 (I had stock axles so I left almost like a stop light cut a 2.5 60ft and went 10.5 @ 155mph). Now the 997TT with the 3.8ltr motor its got should hopefully make 1200rwhp on E85 and 1350-1400rwhp on Race gas and my 4.0 (2000+rwhp capable build) should make about 1800+rwhp on race gas. Still going to be using these same Blitz Filters on both builds.

So how did you like the blitz filters? Were you able to fit them to your intake system?

I did exactly that when I picked up my 2016 CP with MPE. Sound and acceleration is awesome!!! Just dropped a set of Michelin PS4's on last week. Night and day of the POS Zeros.
