RPI Black Edition GTM Exhaust tips

I had the newly released RPI GTM black edition tips installed a few weeks ago and have been meaning to share. Hope you all like them as I love them and it's pretty sweet to be the very first to have them. The quality is incredible and the guys at RPI are top notch and world class customer service. Here are a few pics. Even our little girl approved of them.

Sweet. Curious about your thoughts on the system? Drone, loudness, etc.?

Love this system but not sure I could do this on a daily basis.

Tips look great; curious as well in regards to drone / tone with everyday driving.

Beautiful little girl; god bless her. Funny enough, my daughter has always been a good barometer for tolerable exhaust volumes. They'll let you know when it's too loud.

Good luck!

With OEM downpipes the drone is minimal and tolerable. If your drive in sport/sport+ and D2/3 it's non existent.

Add downpipes, the drone will be noticeable and loud. Again, drive in D2/3 and it will drop considerably. The reason it drops is because the drone is in a certain RPM range and in comfort it likes to hang out there in 1700-2000 range. Take it out of that range and it's not bad.

It's still f*cking loud when you add the downpipes lol. It's sexy AF on our cars

Got it. When you pull the bs ASD plug, I'm sure it helps but what's your thoughts on inside noise without ASD? I'm fairly up to speed on all this from the gazillion other posts on this but...... current thoughts are better than old ones haha

ASD was removed on day 1 so the drone is still there with the RPI system lol. Adding ASD just makes the drone worse due to the added noise.

There is definitely drone but I have certainly gotten used to it. The F10 M5 is so very well insulated too. My beast is my daily driver with kiddo two car seats in the back and have received no complaints. The exhaust is loud but not obnoxious in my opinion. Perfect for daily driving and appropriately brutal when you need/want that sound to ring when you put your foot down. I'm loving it.

Dude, I never asked you. Did you disable the ASD? There's way less drone when it's disabled. You would appreciate it. Easiest way to do it is to just simply unplug it.
